The July 5, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown will be held at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada, just one day before the Money in the Bank 2024 PLE. This episode is expected to feature the fallout from The Bloodline taking down Paul Heyman. Check below for the complete preview.
DIY has been patiently waiting for their tag team title shot against A Town Down Under. During this time, Johnny Gargano has tried to convince Austin Theory that Grayson Waller is using him. However, Theory and Waller remain a tag team for now. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will continue their feud with Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell. Indi cost Jade her MITB qualifier last week, and Jade retaliated by attacking Indi when she was trying to help Candice later in the show. The former Tag Team Champions previously defeated Candice and Indi on the King & Queen of the Ring pre-show.
Last week, Solo Sikoa confronted Paul Heyman, and when Heyman refused to acknowledge Solo as his Tribal Chief, Solo responded with a Samoan Spike and a beatdown from The Bloodline. The WWE Tag Team Championship match is set between A Town Down Under and DIY. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will face Candice LeRae and Indi Hartwell.
