WWE’s flagship show, Monday Night RAW, is set to take place next week at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA, as the build-up to the next premium live event, WWE Bad Blood in Atlanta, Georgia, heats up. With major storylines intensifying, the road to Bad Blood will be paved through the red brand, setting the stage for key confrontations and developments. Towards the end of this week’s show, the match line-up for next week was revealed, giving fans plenty to look forward to.
Drew McIntyre was given time off last week to keep him away from CM Punk, in an effort to protect their highly anticipated Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood. McIntyre will return to RAW this week to respond to Punk’s emotional promo, where Punk shockingly stated that he would “kill himself to beat McIntyre.” Fans have been eagerly awaiting what McIntyre has to say, building further tension between these two fierce competitors.
Meanwhile, Sami Zayn has been relentless in his pursuit of the World Heavyweight Championship, only to be continuously dismissed by the reigning champion, Gunther. This week, Zayn will face off against Gunther’s ally, Ludwig Kaiser, in a singles match. With Gunther likely watching closely, Kaiser has been tasked with ending Zayn’s aspirations before he gets another chance at the title.
In what is sure to be a monumental clash, Bron Breakker will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Jey Uso. Jey earned this title opportunity after defeating several top WWE stars in recent weeks, proving himself as a formidable contender. The tension between these two powerhouses has been building, and the stakes are high as Jey looks to dethrone Breakker in what promises to be a match fans won’t soon forget.
