The AEW Dynamite episode on July 24, 2024, will feature the Blood & Guts special show, live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. The line-up for the Blood & Guts 2024 match has been finalized, with all five members of Team Elite and Team AEW revealed. Hangman Page joined Team Elite last week after AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland announced he would lead Team AEW. Page has been feuding with Swerve since late last year but has failed to defeat him. Page also tried to earn a title shot against Swerve but was unsuccessful in the Owen Hart Cup, losing to Bryan Danielson. Team Elite now consists of Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada, TNT Champion Jack Perry, Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson), and Hangman Adam Page. Mark Briscoe was the first member announced for Team AEW before Swerve declared himself the leader. This week on Dynamite, three new members were added to Team AEW: The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster), who made their case to Briscoe, and Darby Allin, who joined them in a brawl to close the show. Team AEW now includes AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland, Mark Briscoe, The Acclaimed, and Darby Allin.
Another match added to the card for the AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts special next week features Minoru Suzuki challenging FTW Champion Chris Jericho for his title. The Learning Tree’s Big Bill and Bryan Keith will be banned from ringside during the match. The Blood & Guts match will occupy a significant portion of the show.
